Today was the coldest day I've ever skied in.. -12º at the summit of Killington. That's real temperature, mind you - before windchill.

so how cold was it?

when I came back.. ice on my eyelashes..


it was 8 below where I parked my car at the bottom of the mountain..


Great skiing conditions though.

I must have forgotten to post this before, it's from December 15th:



In other news, my parent's house in Riverside, CA officially got snow before we did in New York. Light snow yesterday stuck to the car parked in the driveway, which is more than we got. Snow is almost unheard of in Southern California, at least when not in the mountains, so the fact that they got snow before we did in NY is really ... depressing. (:
